Who it’s for?

By using the Tan Extending Lotion, clients can increase the life of their existing tan or add a subtle glow without a spray tan . The Spray Tan Safe Moisturizer is for clients who wants to keep their skin hydrated, so that their tan fades evenly. It is also great for anyone looking for a great all over moisturizer!

Is it worth it?

Yes! These products with proper use will help extend your tan between 1 to 2 weeks. Some clients have even said their spray tans lasted 3 weeks with the extending products and proper care. 

How do I get the best results?

Apply Tan Extending Lotion first after showering and patting the body semi dry. Add to your body and face to increase the evenness of the tan and maintain a fresh look. Spread evenly and then let it "marinate" into the skin. Avoid showering for 5 hours after application. Wash hands thoroughly after handling product. Once Tan Extending Lotion has saturated into the skin, you can then apply the Spray Tan Safe Moisturizer all over evenly. 

︎How many applications will I get out of the tan extending products?

The full size products in the Luxe package and a la carté options, should last 10+ Spray Tans with proper application.

Here are some helpful before & after instructions to ensure you get the best tan possible:

Before:

  • Take a shower as normal the day of your appointment and be careful to rinse off ALL soap/any shampoo. Shave any areas that you normally would shave.

  • Do NOT apply any deodorant, moisturizer, cream, lotion or makeup.

  • Exfoliate your whole body/face prior to your tan with an oil free product. This is very important and vital for an even tan. Properly exfoliating with an oil free product can increase the life of your tan. Also, if you have dry skin, I always recommend moisturizing head to toe as soon as possible, to start hydrating your skin prior to your tan appointment. Whether it be a day, week or more, just start moisturizing everyday to get your skin soft and hydrated.

  • I highly suggest to have any mani/pedis prior to your tan appointment. That way you can enjoy all the scrubbing & massage.‍ Also, keep in mind, nail polish removers will remove your tan.

  • Wear dark/loose clothing so that your clothing does not rub against the spray tan while it is setting. I use an oil free formula so it will NOT stain your clothing, bedsheets, etc.

  • If it is a rainy day on your appointment day, I highly suggest bringing an umbrella, hooded jacket/sweater and wear clothing to completely cover your body. This will ensure that you don't get wet anywhere.

    After:

  • DO NOT get wet! This is vital to ensure your tan sets properly. No crying, stay out of the rain and no sweating.

  • NO working out till after your first shower.

  • Stay Dry. DO NOT shower for 4-6 hours. I use an express formula so that you have the option of rinsing it off after 4-6 hours or if you wish to sleep with it on your body, you can do that as well. If you decide to take it off before bed, RINSE ONLY, NO SOAP.

  • NO skin to skin contact. Do not cross your legs or cross your arms, etc.

  • DO NOT use any exfoliating scrubs/body washes until you want to remove your tan. Always pat dry after getting out of the shower instead of rubbing dry. DO NOT use face cloths or scratchy loofahs.

  • To preserve your tan, avoid swimming, long showers, baths, steam rooms and saunas. This will help with the longevity of your tan. You can absolutely still do these things, your tan just may not last as long.

  • Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Moisturizer helps with the longevity of your tan, so moisturize everyday head to toe with an oil free moisturizer. I also offer a lotion that can help extend the life of your tan an extra week or so, if used everyday.
